WELCOME TO SWOC
-
What should I bring with me?If you have one, bring along a garden chair or sun lounger. We have a limited number of patio chairs available if required. Bring a towel or similar to sit on when sitting on anything that does not belong to you. You will also want to bring a picnic. We have no running water available but there are cooking facilities in the clubhouse.
-
Are you open all year round?Members have all year round access to the club. We prefer to welcome visitors during the warmer months.
-
Is there a place where I can talk to other people? When the weather is good we congregate on the sun lawn. If it rains we retreat into the clubhouse. All visitors are welcome to join us. We want to get to know you.
-
Are there places where I can be alone? There are always places where you can sit quietly and read or just enjoy the sights and sounds of our lovely club.
-
Are there any rules? Most organised naturist locations will have their own rules, but there are a couple of unwritten rules in naturism. Never sit naked on anything that does not belong to you. Most people sit on a towel. If taking photographs make sure you do not include anyone who has not given their permission to be photographed. Check what's in the background so you do not acdcidently include someone. A copy of SWOC's rules is on the clubhouse notice board.
-
Can I bring my partner who is not a naturist?SWOC's Constitution requires members to be naked at all reasonable times. Prospective new members are not required to undress but are certainly encouraged to have done so before their application is considered. Non naturist partners would not be welcome but, at the Committee's discretion, could be invited to some of the Club's social events.
